New Study Shows Just How Much We Love Our Dogs

The Westminster Dog Show has been appointment viewing for many the past few nights.  Last night, a beagle was crowned best in show.  It's no secret that we love our dogs in the U.S.  But what state "loves" them the most?  The company behind Milk-Bone dog treats did a survey and found out that people in California love their dogs more than any other state.  The rankings were based on how often owners hug and kiss their dogs!  New York came in second.  As for the states that have some work to do?  Nebraska came in dead last.  Iowa ranked number 33.  Come on mid-west!  Lets get to hugging those dogs!

The study also confirmed a long time belief that dogs can get you dates!  66% of women and 55% of men say they are more attracted to someone who owns a dog.  18% of men say that their dog helps them GET dates!  Now THAT is worth a hug and kiss in my book!
