New Poll Shows Grassley’s Lead Shrinking

A new poll shows that Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley's lead over challenger Patty Judge is holding steady. But the news isn't all good for Grassley.

The Public Policy Pollins survey found that Grassley holds a 46% to 39% lead over Judge, but 14% of people say they are still undecided. The poll found that Grassley's approval rating is under 50% for the first time and that 40% of people said that his refusal to hold hearings on President Obama's Supreme Court nominee makes them less likely to vote for him.

The race for president in Iowa is also razor close. Hillary Clinton holds a slim 41% to 39% lead over Donald Trump.
