Julie and I got some sod installed at our house early this week. Now the challenge of watering it. The last 18 hours, let's just say, have not gone well.

We had a fairly large amount of sod installed that goes around our garage, meaning two separate areas need to be watered. We have a fan/oscillating sprinkler that waters one area pretty effectively. The second area is a bit different. We purchased a sprinkler on a tripod that was doing fairly well, but was missing certain spots, which we were watering by hand. We decided we'd switch to additional fan sprinklers. Not such a great idea.

Last night, we purchased three more fan sprinklers, cut garden hose to proper length, installed new ends on the hoses and were ready to tackle the entire yard this morning. After getting up at daybreak and getting all hoses connected and the four sprinklers into place, we turned on the water. It rose, maybe, six feet high... not enough pressure. The little voice in my head told me this would be an issue. WHY didn't I listen?!

We then went back to plan number one, nearly 90-minutes later. Do you have any suggestions? Unfortunately, we have only one water faucet that we can utilize for this challenge. For the time being, it's back to the watering cans... at least I bought two more of those as well. One thing I do have is a whole lotta of things in my garage, especially now. And looking on the bright side, at least I didn't try to plant grass seed. A few years ago, you may remember, we planted niger seed accidently. You talk about embarrassing...
