The name Monica Lewinsky doesn't need much of an introduction. The former White House intern was at the center of a political firestorm after it was revealed she had an affair with then-President Bill Clinton. The scandal rocked the country and nearly ended a presidency. In the aftermath, Lewinsky disappeared from the public eye.

Lewinsky emerged in 2014 in a full-length interview with Vanity Fair. She has also joined  Bystander Revolution, an anti-bullying organization. She serves as an ambassador and adviser.

Lewinsky will speak at the University of Iowa on October 24th at 7:30 p.m. Her speech will deal with bullying and other social media issues. Her speech is free and open to the public.
