Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton Divorcing After Four Years

Popular gossip site TMZ broke news this morning that Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton are finalizing their divorce today after four years of marriage. After so many divorce rumors throughout their marriage, we are saddened to learn that this one is actually true.

The report states that Shelton filed for divorce a while ago. The couple does have a prenup so it was relatively simple to work out the details of the split. Lambert gets the house in Nashville while Shelton is keeping the ranch in Oklahoma.

The couple released the following statement to the AP:

"This is not the future we envisioned. And it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately. We are real people, with real lives, with real families, friends and colleagues. Therefore, we kindly ask for privacy and compassion concerning this very personal matter."

The couple famously fell in love for all to see in 2005 when performing a duet of "You're the Reason God Made Oklahoma" that you can see here.
