Michael Annett’s NASCAR Hauler Catches On Fire Heading To Texas

Iowa Driver Michael Annett's weekend got off on the wrong foot. Annett drives the #46 HScott Racing Flying J Chevy in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. The trailer containing both of his race cars for this weekend caught fire on westbound Interstate 20 near Longview, TX. Semi driver Michael Smith is okay and pulled over when he saw smoke. Both Smith and his passenger began detaching the trailer from the cab. The fire was around the back of the race car and did not reach the cab. They were headed to Texas Motor Speedway in Dallas for the NASCAR Sprint Cup race this weekend.
