Meet Velvet

I told my listeners several weeks ago that I was looking for a new dog. I wasn't in any hurry after my last dog, Chico, passed away, but I had my eyes out.

I'm a huge fan of Rough Collies. I grew up with them as a child and Chico was a beautiful Rough Collie.

A few weeks of looking around the internet and I found a Rough Collie up for adoption in Newton. We drove out a couple weeks later to meet her, and it was love at first sight.

She's such a sweet dog and she's definitely filled a void in my life. You might see us out on one of our many walking adventures!
