Maren Morris took a ride to Los Angeles in her "80s Mercedes" this week to perform on Ellen. The singer appeared on the show on Oct. 19.

The country starlet sparkled during her performance, clad in a flattering crop-top and glittery shorts. As the tune progressed, she began to bop along with the beat and engage the crowd in with her easygoing nature. Not only did Morris look great, but her vocals were on the same level. The young singer continues to prove her spot on the CMA Awards nominees list.

To commemorate her debut performance on the show, host Ellen DeGeneres treated guests to a copy of the rising star's current freshman album, Hero, which topped the Billboard Country Albums charts earlier this summer.

On the same day of her Ellen appearance, Morris announced her 2017 headlining Hero Tour. The trek will kick off in February. Before she goes on the road on her own she will finish up the Ripcord tour alongside Keith Urban and Brett Eldredge.

2016 has been Morris' year. In addition to her very first No. 1 single, "My Church," a chart-topping album and spending all summer on the road, she was also nominated for her share of 2016 CMA Awards — the most of any artist, in fact. She is up for Song and Single of the Year, New Artist of the Year, Album of the Year and Female Vocalist of the Year.
