According to CBS 2, Juengel had previously told investigators he'd been with Salow before the vehicle Salow was in went through the ice on Lake Delhi. However, Juengel told them he had left prior to the accident. Authorities say their investigation shows Salow wasn't alone when the vehicle went through the ice. Salow's body was found the following day, inside the upside-down vehicle which was found in around eight feet of water.

John LeClere, Delaware County Sheriff, says investigators found tire marks on both side of the spot where the ice broke. Authorities believe the vehicle had been doing doughnuts.

Authorities believe Juengel left the scene and got a ride in another vehicle.

Juengel is being held on $50,000 bond at the Delaware County Jail in Manchester. He's been charged with making a false report, reckless driving, homicide by vehicle, and leaving the scene of an accident.
