Maddie Poppe Warns Fans Of Unofficial Merchandise Page

American Idol winner Maddie Poppe has a message to her fans looking to purchase some of her merchandise. Poppe explained in a Facebook post that a 'fan page' is selling her t-shirts and other memorabilia. It's not authorized by the Iowa native, and they are charging double the cost.

Poppe is urging fans to stay away from teechip.com. Here's her post from Wednesday, May 23rd:

It's unfortunate that this type of bootlegging still happens. This is money that the artists will never see, not to mention this particular business is selling certain items at double the cost. It's not fair, and it needs to be stopped.

I'm really looking forward to Maddie Poppe's appearance this summer in downtown Cedar Rapids. She will perform at the Cedar Rapids Market After Dark event, on August 25th.
