Luke Bryan has spent the majority of the year on the road with his Huntin', Fishin' and Lovin' Every Day Tour, as well as on his annual Farm Tour. So when the country singer gets some time off he spends it wisely: with his family.

The singer enjoyed some downtime with his crew over the long Thanksgiving weekend, sharing an animated photo at home by the fireplace with his wife, sons and nephew. "We all hope you have a great #thanksgivingdinner," Bryan writes. "We miss you Jordan & Kris."

Days later, he'd pose while presumably picking out a Christmas tree for his home. This photo also showcased the singer's funny side.

Bryan is well known for his animated live show — Cole Swindell still remembers the first time he saw his now-friend in concert. It was at his alma mater, Georgia Southern University, where Bryan went, too. One night Bryan was playing a show with his band Neyami Road and stopped by the Sigma Chi frat house. He was asked to play a song he'd written, and it was that very night that Swindell's musical aspirations were solidified.

"He played a song and I remember the way it made me feel, and I was like 'I have to be able to do that,'" Swindell reminisces. "That night I remember seeing him play live and I was like, 'This guy's an unbelievable entertainer.' I was honestly like, 'Man he's a star,' the first time I saw him."
