The Cedar River still winds its way through the city but so much has changed over the years. We found this video that shows many of Cedar Rapids' gems of the past.

You'll see George Green Square, Ellis Park, Bever Park, Coe College, downtown Cedar Rapids (with street cars), Union Station, and more from decades ago. You may also note several circular floral displays. It's almost like it was a city signature. They look like they were absolutely beautiful.

The video's creator said they estimate the photos to be from the early 1900's. It's a wonderful look at Cedar Rapids history. Thankfully we can still enjoy many of these places today. The one landmark I most regret not being able to see is definitely Union Station. It must have just been breathtaking.
