Long-Awaited New Single From Kenny Chesney Only a Couple Weeks Away

It's an exciting day for Kenny Chesney fans.  In my email inbox at 6:45 this morning, the announcement of a new single, "On Your Desk 6/20/14 at 6:30AM CT."  It also says, "What being young and alive is all about.  Kenny Chesney.  American Kids."  Better yet, a link to watch a preview of it now:

Admittedly, there's not much to go on, with the only lyrics provided, "A little messed up, but we're all alright."  Is it part of a music video or just totally a teaser?  Who knows.

Last week, Kenny tweeted the date “9.30.14.”  Now that we know a new single is being released later this month, that almost certainly means September 30th is the release date for a new Kenny Chesney album.  His last album, 'Life on a Rock,' was released in April 2013.

We'll be watching for the song on the morning of the 20th, so be listening for it.
