Local Amber Alert ends in Tragedy

An Amber Alert issued during the night last night by police in Urbandale came to a tragic end early this morning. Officials have cancelled the alert after being notified by authorities in Missouri that the suspect's vehicle was found and that both occupants were dead. The Amber Alert was cancelled at around 5:45 a.m., nearly 4 hours after it was issued. According to the Missouri State Patrol, officers found a burned out vehicle in a conservation area in Harrison County. The vehicle matched the description issued in the alert, and police say the bodies inside are believed to be that of 9-month-old Logan Habibovic and 33-year-old Elvis Habibovic.
