KHAK’s Teacher of the Week — September 16th

Every week we honor another awesome teacher in the local area with our 'Teacher of the Week' award!

Congratulations to Lisa Hamilton of Van Buren Elementary School in Cedar Rapids, this week’s ‘Teacher of the Week!” Lisa was nominated by Eleisha Baych, and here’s what she had to say:

"She is a teacher who is motivated daily and truly cares for her students. I have had 2 girls go through this school and one still there, and they still make the trip to visit her every year. I could go on and on how she fights for her students to have the best. I wish there were more teachers like her!!"

Lisa will be receiving gift cards from Wild Hogs in Walford, Peck’s Flower Shop, Half Price Books, and Kathy’s Pies.
