KHAK’s ‘Teacher of the Week’ — October 27th

Every week we honor another awesome teacher in the local area with our ‘Teacher of the Week’ award!

Congratulations to Katie Satterlee, a teacher at Wilson Middle School in Cedar Rapids! She is this week’s ‘Teacher of the Week!’ She was nominated by an anonymous person, and here’s what they had to say:

“Mrs. Satterlee works hard to make sure every student has an opportunity to be successful. This summer she taught at Scholar Camp and then came to Wilson almost every afternoon to prepare for the school year. This year she works all day, helps run a tutoring program after school and then goes home and prepares for the next day. She works with some of the hardest kids with both patience and kindness and overall has a positive impact on everyone she meets.”

For being an amazing teacher, Katie will be receiving gift cards from Wild Hogs in Walford and Kathy’s Pies!
