KHAK’s ‘Teacher of the Week’ — November 10th

Every week we honor another awesome teacher in the local area with our ‘Teacher of the Week’ award!

Congratulations to Alyssa Stratton, a teacher at Oak Ridge Middle School in Marion! She is this week’s ‘Teacher of the Week!’ She was nominated by Brooke Clark, and here’s what she had to say:

"Alyssa is new to the district, and the new autism teacher at OR. With a lot on her plate, she still comes in everyday with a smile on her face and a great attitude to make the kids have a easy, stressless day. She's doing this all while planning her wedding! She is a great addition to OR and I'm so glad to be one of her associates in her class!"

For being an amazing teacher, Alyssa will be receiving gift cards from Wild Hogs in Walford and Kathy’s Pies!
