Due to unplayable conditions on the field in Beloit, Wisconsin, Wednesday night's Game 1 in the playoff series between the Kernels and Snappers was postponed.

That game has now been moved to Thursday night at Pohlman Field in Beloit. Game 2, ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED FOR THURSDAY NIGHT in Cedar Rapids, has now been moved to Friday at 6 p.m at Perfect Game Field.

Cedar Rapids will now host Game 2 (and 3, if necessary) in a potential doubleheader Friday night, September 7th with gates opening at 5 and first pitch at 6 p.m. Tickets won or purchased for the originally scheduled Thursday night game will be honored at the game Friday night. If either the Kernels or Beloit sweep the series, game 3 will not be played.

Friday night will also feature a 50-inch big-screen TV giveaway from First Federal Credit Union.

It's been a rough and stressful few days. Get out and enjoy some playoff baseball with the Cedar Rapids Kernels FRIDAY night! Get more information here.
