Kacey Musgraves debuted 'The Trailer Song' for the first time on TV, taking it to Jimmy Fallon's 'The Tonight Show' on Thursday evening (June 12).

The singer chose to wear tight black shorts and a sheer shirt covered with rhinestones, looking classy and country glam at the same time. She rolled through her song with the ease of a seasoned performer, singing the witty lyrics in her sweet-as-honey voice.

"Keep your two cents on your side of the fence / Girl, we ain't friends, we're just neighbors / Ain't nothin' to see here / Go back to your trailer," Musgraves crooned. The song reprimands her neighbor for asking nosy questions, such as what church she goes to and whose underwear is on the line, and it's as clever as anything, with the opening line, "You say that you’re watching the birds out the window / Well I’ve got a bird you can watch."

Fallon bounded onstage when the last guitar chord was strummed, saying, "I love it! Go back to your trailer!"

Musgraves is keeping busy. Her CMT Crossroads episode with Katy Perry airs today, June 13, and the Grammy-winning country star will head out on the pop singer's Prismatic World Tour in August.
