With Valentine's Day approaching, what could be more romantic than a love letter!  My wife and I have written each other letters over the course of our relationship.  They're fun to go back and read, and remember what you were feeling at that particular time.  A great love letter doesn't have to be filled with fancy prose, or crammed with flowery images.  The results of a recent poll suggest that sometimes, simple is better.  The poll asked people to pick out the most romantic love letter of all time!  A tough task indeed.  Coming in at number one, was country music's greatest couple Johnny Cash and his wife June Carter Cash.  Johnny wrote June the letter on her 65th birthday.

You still fascinate and inspire me. You influence me for the better. You're the object of my desire, the #1 Earthly reason for my existence. I love you very much.

Johnny and June's letter beat out love letters by the likes of John Keats, Winston Churchill and Hollywood lovers Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor.  You can view the entire love letter HERE.
