Joey Gase To Attempt Chicago NASCAR Sprint Cup Race

Go FAS Racing announced that 21-year-old Iowa Native Joey Gase will make his NASCAR Sprint Cup Series debut on September 14 at Chicagoland Speedway in the #32 Ford.

Gase has been running the entire Nationwide Series schedule with #52 Jimmy Means Racing under the Donate Life colors to help raise awareness for the need of organ, eye, and tissue donation and to honor donors and their families. Gase is currently top 20 in Nationwide Series driver points.

In August 2011, Go FAS (Go Green) Racing gave Gase his first NASCAR Nationwide Series start at Iowa Speedway where he finished 20th. "I am very excited and thankful that Archie and the entire team are giving me this opportunity," Gase said. "My Nationwide Series career started with Go FAS in 2011 which led to a great 20th place finish. Hopefully I can get another good finish with the team on [September] 14 in my first-ever cup start."
