Jason Aldean is bringing his We Were Here Tour to 24 cities in the U.S. and Australia in 2016 and the tour actually kicks off in a concert spot well known to Eastern Iowans.

Jason will debut his tour in Moline Thursday, January 14th. He'll visit central Iowa exactly one week later with a stop in Des Moines. The entire list of 2016 dates is listed below. The tour will also feature Thomas Rhett and A Thousand Horses, though I can't help but wonder if the Smoke singers will be on the Moline date since they perform there with Darius Rucker exactly two months earlier, on November 14th.

Aldean's 2016 tour name comes from his current hit Gonna Know We Were Here, which is already in country music's Top 15. Jason says in a press release, “This song pretty much sums up how I feel like me and my fans live our lives. That same excitement is what we feel out there on the road every night, which made it a great name for next year’s tour.”

On sale dates haven't yet been announced, but when we know, you'll know.
