Country newbie Jamie Lynn Spears proved she has a successful career ahead of her on July 4 at the McGrath Amphitheatre.

Fans were treated to a heartfelt performance filled with the songs off Spears' new EP 'The Journey' as well as covers.

Country On The River's 'Next Big Star' competition contestants opened for Spears. Alyssa Bittner won the local round and will move on to finals.
