It’s Not A Competition…Or Is It?

Yes I am competitive.  When it comes to work projects, board games, driving, even keeping up on current events - I like to be first or if not first, I want to be the best.  (This undoubtedly drives my wife nuts.)  One other thing I am competitive about is doing outdoor work around the house - mainly mowing and snow blowing.

As we make our way into the "mowing season", it's time for me to start sizing up my neighbors and beat them to the punch on cutting the grass.  Getting off work and home when I do (early afternoon) usually makes it easy to be the first person to mow.  And I love the sound of the neighbors firing up their mowers late in the afternoon as I relax with a glass of iced tea and a feeling of satisfaction.
