Is It Too Early For Christmas Decorations? Not For Our Neighbors

Today marks two weeks 'til Thanksgiving. At our house, that means a giant corn shock is in our yard along with a few pumpkins. Not our neighbors though... they're in full Christmas mode which begs the question:  Isn't it too early?

Many years, we've put up Christmas decorations prior to Thanksgiving since the weather can become so unpredictable... no need to look any further than the last few days for proof of that. However, other than a test to make sure everything's working, our lights don't go on until Black Friday.
