The images don't seem possible. Hurricane Harvey, now a tropical storm, continues to hammer the Texas coast. Flooding like never before continues to endanger the lives of everyone in the region. The worst part is it isn't over. Harvey is expected to head back into the Gulf of Mexico, strengthen, and make landfall again.

Volunteers have been flocking to the area to help. Citizens in their own boats are cruising the flooded streets and rescuing people from their homes. Volunteers with the Iowa Red Cross are in Texas as we speak. According to the organization around 20 Iowans have been deployed to help.

If you would like to help the victims of Harvey there are several ways to do so. First, you can donate through the Red Cross. Or you can donate HERE and your contribution will be split up among several charities doing work in Texas. Whatever you can afford to give will help provide relief to people who have lost everything.
