This kind of goes without saying, but being a girl can be pretty darn expensive!

According to a survey of over 3,000 women in the U.S., the average ‘worth’ value of a woman’s face is about $8 per day. The survey also revealed that 85% of women apply an average of SIXTEEN skincare and cosmetic products every day. That adds up quick, with the average American woman spending around $300,000 on facial products in her lifetime. And by facial products, they mean pretty much anything you put on your face: face wash, primer, toner, eye cream, foundation, lipstick, mascara, blush... the list could go on forever.

The most interesting part of the survey to me, is the list of the top 10 states where women spend the most on their face products. In New York, Connecticut, and West Virginia, the average woman spends about $11 per day on her face. Also on the list? Iowa, coming in at #8 with an average of $9 per day. Montana, Utah, and Colorado have the "cheapest" faces, with daily rates of $3.50, $4.50, and $5.

How much do you spend on skincare and cosmetic products for your face? Is it more or less than the state average? Share your thoughts with us in the comments below!
