Iowa VS UCLA in Men’s Basketball? It Could Happen!

It could happen. Iowa and UCLA could be on a collision course in the NCAA Men's College Basketball Tournament. #11 seed UCLA knocked off 6th seeded SMU to advance to the round of 32. UCLA will play on Saturday against UAB, the same UAB which knocked off Iowa State on Thursday.

The 7th seeded Iowa Hawkeyes begin there march later on this afternoon as they take on 10th seeded Davidson. The winner of this game plays the winner of Gonzaga/N. Dakota St. on Sunday.

Iowa must win both games to advance to the Sweet 16 and UCLA must win on Saturday to make this match-up.

UCLA is Coached by former Iowa Basketball Coach Steve Alford, who coached at Iowa from 1999 thru 2007.
