It's been an unbelievable and historic season for the Hawkeyes. They are 1 win away from heading to the Championship, as all of us swell with Black and Gold pride.  We also eagerly await the news of what Bowl game we'll be playing in this year.  However, the news has already come for another Iowa team.

No, it's not Iowa State. It's a Cedar Rapids High School in fact.  The news came across our desk Friday that the Jefferson High School Cheer team has been invited to perform at halftime of the TaxSlayer Bowl January 2nd in Jacksonville.  They'll be among the most elite dance, cheer, and drill teams in the nation, and it's quite the honor.  They'll not only get to show off some Iowa pride, but will be working with nationally acclaimed choreographers. This will be quite the memorable experience for these 22 students, and we couldn't be prouder.  Congrats J-Hawks!
