Good news for Iowa football fans. Quarterback C.J. Beathard should be at 100% when the Hawkeyes return to campus for summer conditioning. That according to head football coach Kirk Ferentz. Beathard has been on an eight-month-long journey to be pain-free that included hernia surgery in January. He then sat out the April 23rd spring game with a shoulder injury.

Ferentz said that Beathard's shoulder was fine when he left after the semester finals. He noted that the quarterback was still working through the groin issue, but that time was on Beathard's side. He expected him to be at 100% when he returned to school for summer drills.

Beathard battled hip and groin injuries for the majority of Iowa's record-setting 2015-2016 season.
