Shueyville, Iowa native Hailey Whitters has been in Nashville for 10 years now. The singer-songwriter route to stardom is never an easy one, and for most people, it takes years of hard work. And of course, that big break. Whitters is in the midst of that big break now. After having several of her songs selected by Martina McBride's Reckless album, she now has a song on Little Big Town's new album The Breaker. And it's about to hit country radio stations around the nation! Hailey stopped by the KHAK studios and told Brain and Courtlin the story behind her soon to be hit song 'Happy People'!
