It wasn't always pretty, but the Iowa men's basketball team rolled to their 8th win in a row as they defeated Rutgers on the road, 90-76. Peter Jok led the way with a career-high 29 points. Jarrod Uthoff and Anthony Clemmons both poured in 20 points with Adam Woodbury adding 12 points. Senior guard Mike Gesell was held scoreless, but had nine assists.

Iowa now moves into a tie for 1st place in the Big Ten with Indiana. Both teams are 6-0 in conference play. The last time Iowa was 6-0 in the Big Ten was back in 1986-87 season where Iowa made it to the elite 8 in the NCAA tournament.

Up next for the Iowa Hawkeyes is the Purdue Boilermakers. Iowa will host Purdue Sunday afternoon at Carver-Hawkeye Arena with tip-off at noon.
