Iowa Men’s Basketball Team Could Play Their First Round NCAA Game in Omaha

March Madness is here. The Iowa Men's Basketball Team has gone from bubble watch to into the Tourney talk with a 19-10 overall record and 10-6 in Big Ten play. Iowa has had some key road wins this season. They need to continue this tonight as they travel to Indiana for a 6PM tip on ESPN.

With 2 wins to close out the Big Ten season and a win or 2 in the Big Ten Tournament, Iowa could be as high as a 7 seed in the South Region. Now if you're like me... Omaha is hardly consider the South Region, but in the NCAA Basketball world and it is after all March Madness... sure Omaha is South. The latest projections have Michigan St in that slot but Michigan St has been trending downward and a couple losses for Michigan St, Iowa could slide into that spot. The NCAA's like to have full arenas and Iowa would be a lot closer drive to Omaha than East Lansing, MI.

Iowa has to keep winning and it all starts tonight at Indiana, 6PM on ESPN ... GO HAWKS!!!
