Iowa Men’s Basketball Scores A Win Against Rutgers

It wasn't always pretty, but the Iowa Men's Basketball team found a way to win Sunday afternoon against Rutgers 68-62 at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

It wasn't easy as Rutgers took a 51-42 midwat through the 2nd half. Iowa was lead by Senior Peter Jok's double-double, 18 points with 11 rebounds. Cordell Pemsl scored 13 points and Dom Uhl had a season high 10 points. Nicholas Baer added 10 points and Freshman Jordan Bohannon had 8 points.

The Hawks were sluggish for the first 30 minutes, committing 18 turnover but were able to overcome that to score the victory.

Up next for Iowa is Purdue Thursday night at Carver Hawkeye Arena. 2 weeks ago, Purdue beat-up on Iowa 89-67 in their Big Ten opener.
