Iowa men's basketball coach Fran McCaffery has added a high school's all-time leading scorer to the 2015 recruiting class.

The University of Iowa Sports Information Department announced this morning that Christian Williams has signed his national letter of intent to play at the University of Iowa. Williams played high school basketball at St. Teresa High in Illinois, where he is the school's all-time leading scorer with 1,587 points. He was named to the all-state team twice and three times was named first team all-league. He averaged 18.7 points, 8.6 rebounds, 3.3 steals, and three assists per game during his senior campaign. St. Teresa was a combined 52-9 the last two seasons.

Coach McCaffery said, "We are thrilled that Christian is part of our Hawkeye family. Christian is an incredibly versatile player who can play three positions. He's a terrific athlete with great length. He's a phenomenal passer and a proven winner. Christian fits very well with our style."
