A 36-year-old Iowa man is charged with impregnating a 12-year-old girl and DNA has confirmed it. This after he'd already been convicted of sexual contact with the girl's brother, who is 10-years-old.

James Hall of Sioux City is currently serving a 10-year sentence on a conviction of 2nd Degree Sexual Abuse. The conviction followed the boy telling his mother that he'd been sexually abused by Hall.

According to court documents obtained by KCAU, Hall had repeated sexual contact with the girl during the months of February and March last year. In November of 2017, the girl gave birth to a baby boy and DNA confirmed Hall was the father of the child.

In addition to the 2nd Degree Sexual Abuse conviction he's imprisoned for, Hall is facing four more charges.

  • Three counts: 3rd Degree Sexual Abuse
  • One count: Neglect of a Dependent Person

Each charge is a Class C felony. If convicted, Hall could face up to 30 more years in prison. He'll be arraigned Monday, June 4.
