Data released on Thursday by the U.S. Department of Education shows Iowa has the highest high school graduation rate in the nation. 90.5% of Iowa students in the Class of 2014 graduated within four years. The National average showed the U.S. posted a record for the 2013-2014 school year with a graduation rate of 81%.
