Iowa Lands 2 On The AP 2015 All-American Team

The Awards keep rolling in for the Iowa Hawkeyes. On Sunday, the AP released their 2015 All-American team. The Jim Thorpe Award winner for the nation’s best defensive back, Desmond King, was selected for the 1st Team All-American by the AP as a Cornerback.

Williamsburg native Austin Blythe was selcted for the 3rd Team All-American by the AP as a Center.

Iowa will face Stanford in the 2016 Rose Bowl. Stanford landed 3 players on the AP All-American Team. Heisman runner up Christian McCaffrey made the 1st Team All-American by the AP as an all purpose player and Joshua Garnett was 1st Team All-American Offensive Guard. Stanford Tight End Austin Hooper was selected for the 3rd Team All-American by the AP.
