The preseason accolades for the Iowa Hawkeye football team continue to roll in. Iowa finds themselves ranked in the top 25 of the Amway Coaches Preseason Poll. The Hawkeyes entered the poll at number 15. It's the highest preseason ranking since Iowa was ranked at number 9 during the 2010 preseason.

Iowa is one of four Big Ten teams, joining Ohio State at number five, Michigan at eight, and Michigan State at eleven. The Wolverines are Iowa's only preseason ranked opponent on the schedule. Michigan visits Kinnick Stadium on November 12th.

Iowa is looking to prove that last season was no fluke. The Hawkeyes went 12-2, played in the Rose Bowl, and finished the season ranked 10th in the country.
