Iowa Football One Month Away

Hard to believe we are one month away from the first game of the year at Kinnick Stadium. Summer started off very wet during the month of June. The month of July always seems to fly by and here we are, August 5th already and looking at the start of the Iowa State Fair next week and Iowa Football one month away.

Practices have started and the first game at Kinnick Stadium is Labor Day Weekend, Saturday Sept 5th. Kickoff is set for 11AM against Illinois St. This will not be an easy game. Illinois St. played in the FCS National Championship game last season and lost 27-29.

Suddenly I'm feeling a chill in the air.
