The USS Iowa is stationed in Los Angels, CA. The ship has been decommissioned since 1990. In 2011 USS Iowa was donated to the Los Angeles–based non-profit Pacific Battleship Center and was permanently moved to Berth 87 at the Port of Los Angeles in 2012, where she was opened to the public as the USS Iowa Museum. This is the first time the ship has hosted an Iowa fan base for the Rose Bowl and boy did the Iowa fans come out in numbers.

Thursday it was opened up to Iowan's who came to California to cheer on the Hawks. The waiting time to visit the USS Iowa was almost 3 hours. This it the longest wait time ever to board this ship. Thousands upon thousands upon thousand of Hawk fans gathered to see this great ship and cheer on the Hawkeyes.

It's Great to be a Hawkeye!!!
