Iowa Boy in Viral Video Meets Luke Bryan [PHOTOS]

Joseph, the 8-year-old Iowa boy who made a video pleading for Luke Bryan to come to his school, met the country superstar Saturday night. It was awesome to watch.

Joseph, who's had a myriad of health problems in his young life, was smiling from ear to ear when Brain and I chatted with him before the meet and greet started.

Luke's schedule, which included shows Thursday in Indiana and Friday in Illinois, didn't make a visit to Joseph's Mason City school possible. However, Joseph was first in the meet and greet line at the UNI-Dome. Luke was expecting him.

Luke walked into the room and immediately gave his full attention to the little guy who had his excitement level pegged. Luke got down on his knees and said to Joseph, "You're the one they blew up my Twitter about, aren't you." He talked to Joseph for several minutes and also told him, "An awful lot of people wanted you to meet me." Indeed, we did, Luke. Indeed, we did.

After Luke spent more than five minutes with Joseph and signed two autographs (including the back of his shirt) for him, every person in the room clapped and cheered. It was then time for everyone else to meet Luke, but by that time the night had been made for all the people in the room. All because an Iowa boy named Joseph and a country superstar made a memory that little boy, and everyone who witnessed it, will never forget.
