Here we are after week five of the college football season. Iowa currently sits at 3-2 after a stinging loss to Northwestern. Missed plays, missed calls, and Iowa just couldn't get the job done on Saturday to win against Northwestern.

SBNation has come out with their bowl projections. A couple of weeks ago they had Iowa headed to the Pinstripe Bowl in New York City. Their latest projections have Iowa headed south to Texas and the "Heart of Dallas" bowl on December 27 against Western Kentucky.

Now before you make your reservations in Dallas, there's still a lot of football to be played. Iowa hasn't looked as sharp as they did the first two games this year. For some reason, maybe it's my die-hard loyalty to the Hawkeyes, but I still believe we can have a great season. It all starts this weekend on the road at Minnesota and the battle for "Floyd of Rosedale." You better believe it will be a battle as it's a trophy game and no one wants to give back a trophy.

GO HAWKS!!!
