Iowa All American Brandon Scherff Has Knee Surgery

Brandon Scherff returned to action after having his knee examined in the Iowa locker room.

 Scherff was injured making a tackle after an Iowa fumble and Ball State return for a touchdown.  Hawkeye fans may want to begin the deep breathing again.

Scherff is one player the Hawks can not afford to lose.  He anchors the offensive line and is a mauler in the run game, and protects the QB well too.  We'll learn more about depth along the Iowa offensive line when Iowa hosts ISU Saturday
