The cold and soggy conditions that hit the state of Iowa this weekend have caused the 2016 IMCA Frostbuster's to try a different weekend.

The Frostbusters will give it a shot beginning next Friday, April 8. That night, the races run at Marshalltown Speedway. Saturday night, it's Boone Speedway. Finally, Sunday night the series concludes at the Benton County Speedway in Vinton.

The forecast for the coming week shows rain is likely Tuesday through Wednesday, but hopefully dry after that. Temperatures next weekend could be a bit of a challenge again... especially on Friday when the high in Marshalltown is expected to only be around 51 degrees. The low that night should be around freezing. That's very comfortable for those in the drivers uniforms, not so much for the fans. However, it's spring in Iowa... it could change, and likely will.
