Brian Harris won a thrilling race over Justin Kay at West Liberty last night by a half a car length in the IMCA Deery Brothers Late Model action. Andy Nezworski's 3rd place finish means that both Kay and Nezworski are tied for the points lead as the series heads to Independence tonight.

The IMCA Deery Brothers Summer Series Late Models are racing tonight at the Independence Speedway for the $3,000 to win and $300 to start on the always exciting 3/8-mile track.

I'll be joining the IMCA Deery Brothers Late Model action so come join me tonight at Independence and stop by afterwards and say "hi".

Independence opens both the pit gate and the grandstand at 5 p.m. Hot laps are at 6:45 p.m. with racing to follow.

Admission is $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and students, and free for kids 11 and under.

Also running at Indy are IMCA Modifieds, plus Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks.
