The IMCA Deery Brothers Summer Series Late Models are racing tonight at the West Liberty Raceway for the $3,000 to win and $300 to start, 40 lap feature on the fast half mile.

Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modifieds are also on the slate at West Liberty, racing for $1,000 to win.

Pit gates open at 5 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5:30 p.m. Hot laps are at 6:30 p.m. with racing to follow. Grandstand admission is $16 for adults, $14 for seniors ages 62 and over, $10 for students ages 13-17 and free for 12 and under.

Defending series champion Justin Kay of Wheatland has won three straight, and four of the last five Deery features held at West Liberty and currently sits in 2nd place in the points standings. Andy Nezworski from Buffalo, IA holds a 1 point lead over Kay and Nezworski was the most recent winner of the IMCA Deery Brothers Summer Series race in Algona, IA last Thursday, July 2nd.
