Hawkeye Fans Ready to ‘Stripe The Rose Bowl’

There are 13 charter flights that leave The Eastern Iowa Airport today bound for California. Yes, it's Rose Bowl week and Iowa fans are more than ready! And Hawkeye fans are going to attempt to do something that's never been done before at the Rose Bowl...stripe it.

Can it be done? I say if any fan base in college football can pull this off, it's Iowa fans! Many people traveling to the west coast don't even have their game day tickets yet! Hopefully Iowa fans packed both a gold and a black shirt for the game on Friday! Go Hawks!
