Have A Cedar Rapids Parking Fine? Donate And Get It Forgiven!

Parking tickets. If you work or do business downtown you've had one before. If you're me, well, you've had a lot more than just one. But don't worry. All can be forgiven this holiday season with a simple donation.

Park Cedar Rapids is bringing back 'Forget the Fine Citation Forgiveness Event' through December 21st. It allows people with parking fines to pay them off with charitable donations. They'll dismiss up to $100 in citations with a donation of equal value. What items are being accepted? You can get a complete list HERE.

People can then drop off their donations at the Park Cedar Rapids office at 349 4th Ave. SE Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. All donated items will got to Waypoint Services or to the Willis Dady Emergency Shelter.
