We're in the fist week of November, and by the end of the week, you may see a few more guys with some stubble.  No Shave November is upon us, and for various reasons, be it charity, or just for fun, men everywhere will try and grow a thick, bushy beard.  But did you know that having facial hair can actually be good for your health?

  • It helps with allergies.  Mustaches and beards can catch pollen before it gets to your nose.  It can also help with asthma, as it also traps dust mites.
  • It lowers your risk of skin cancer.  A recent sutdy found that a thick beard can protect a man's face from up to 95% of harmful UV rays.
  • It helps you stay moisturized.  Your skin produces a natural oil that prevents it from drying out.  Facial hair prevents you from rubbing it off.
